About Amy
The Canteen was founded by Amy Tunick whose career as a C-suite marketer and business operator includes executive roles at agencies, brands, media and entertainment companies. Amy’s superpower is her unique combination of creative visionary and operational expert. She is passionate about building multi-platform brand campaigns that leverage memorable experiences, innovative storytelling strategies, talent and creators, and culture marketing partnerships. She also loves leading teams and growing and engaging with her vast professional network.
Throughout her career, Amy has worked on global, national and local campaigns for major brands across industries such as P&G, GE, BMW, CNN, Hulu, Coca-Cola, Marriott, Canon USA, the National Park Service, Volvo, the National Football League, Xfinity, Ferrara, e.l.f. Beauty, US Cellular, Restylane, Walgreens, Hess, Red Lobster, States United to Prevent Gun Violence, and many others. She has also helped non-profit organizations, start ups and agencies achieve their business goals through marketing efforts that drive brand awareness, engage retail partners, increase fundraising, grow consumer databases, build sales pipelines, and much more. In addition to leading The Canteen, Amy is a Founding Partner and Chief Marketing Officer of Visionairies, a Founding Member of Chief, and a member of the Sandy Hook Promise Media Advisory Board.
The company name The Canteen was inspired by sleepaway camp, which has played an important role in Amy's life. At camp, the canteen is a cherished central location where campers, counselors, staff and visitors gather. It is the heart of the community, offering a variety of services and fun experiences.
